Doug Rubenstein contributed to four record-setting relays and was an individual qualifier in three events, as the Gryphons captured third place at the 2013 Ranger Invitational.

Rubenstein swam in SLC's winning 200 free relay (1:35.94) and 400 free relay (3:31.47) with both teams setting new SLC and Ranger Invitational records. The senior also swam the anchor freestyle legs in the Green and White 200 medley (1:49.00) and 400 medley (3:59.93) relays, both of which set SLC bests with runner-up finishes.

Individually, Rubenstein placed fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:05.85), sixth in the 50 free (25.31) and seventh in the 100 freestyle (56.22).
