For the first time this season, Gabby Risica was named HVIAC Player of the Week.

Risica won all three of her races to lead the Gryphons in a 52-41 win over St. Joseph's College Brooklyn. After anchoring the opening 200-yard medley relay, she picked up individual wins in both sprint events, capturing first place in the 50-yard freestyle (28.06) and 100-yard freestyle (1:02.67). She is also a two-time HVIAC Rookie of the Week.
