Rookie Gabby Risica became a quadruple conference champion by winning all four of her races at the 2014 HVIAC Women’s Swimming Invitational.

Risica took first place in the 50 yard freestyle, winning the event in 28.44 seconds. She also captured an individual victory in the 100 yard freestyle, leading an SLC sweep with a time of 1:01.34. The native of Narragansett, R.I. also contributed to the Gryphons’ winning 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays.

For her efforts, Risica was named to the All-HVIAC Swimming Team.
