Men's swimmer Cameron Martinez won two events and was named Swimmer of the Meet at the 2014 UNYSCSA Championships.
Martinez was part of eight SLC record-breaking performances, including four individual and four relay swims. The sophomore doubled as champion in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly, setting pool and meet records in the events. Both of his title-winning swims were NCAA B Cut performances.
Martinez also took third place in the 200 yard individual medley, and was nominated and elected Swimmer of the Meet by the meet's coaches.
Martinez also contributed to new SLC records in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay and 400 medley relay, while his lead-off split in the 800 free relay set a new team best in the 200 free.
