Senior Nate Currier won a hard-fought match in the No. 1 position against Bard. After dropping the first set, the senior Gryphon forced a tiebreaker in the second set and stayed alive. In the super tie-break, Currier pulled out a narrow win to take the match 5-7, 7-6 (4), 10-8.
Against St. Joseph's Brooklyn, Currier earned his first shutout victory of the season, 10-0, easily handling his opponent at No. 1 singles. For his efforts, he was named to the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honor Roll.
