Junior Hayley Adams twice played the hero in SLC softball's 17-16, 8-inning loss to Yeshiva in the semifinals of the 2014 HVIAC Championship.

In the seventh inning, the Gryphons were down to their last out and trailed by two runs. Adams came through with a two-RBI single to left center, tying the game at 12-12, sending it into extra innings.

Then, in the eighth inning, Adams again notched a late-inning RBI, extending the Gryphon lead to four runs. She finished the day with two hits and four runs batted in.
