First year Albert Riley was named Skyline Rookie of the Week in back-to-back weeks to start his collegiate career. Against Mount Saint Mary, Riley won two individual events in the Gryphons' second Skyline meet in program history. He touched the wall first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:24.98) and set a program record in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:13.47), beating the program best by more than five and a half minutes. He also swam a leg on the 400-yard medley relay that finished second in a time of 4:04.86.
