This first year from New Delhi, India, stepped up this week for the Gryphons softball team, moving from centerfield to pitcher for a busy week of six-straight games. Hundal pitched five of the games, including the first game in a double-header against the College of New Rochelle on Thursday, April 26, and both games of two doubleheaders against John Jay on Friday and Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday that same weekend.
New to softball and to the pitcher's mound, Hundal boasted a few strikeouts in her admirable first efforts for the Gryphons, and gained nothing but cheers from the bench and her teammates on the field behind her.
