Junior Mat Gerak had back-to-back breakout games against St. Joseph's Brooklyn and Maritime. Against the Bears, he scored a career-best 23 points, while helping the Gryphons to their highest scoring total against a Skyline opponent. Versus Maritime, Gerak reached 20 points for the second time in his career, leading the Gryphons in scoring and rebounding (seven). He has scored in double-figures in three straight games and shot 17 for 20 (.850) from the foul line in the last two contests.
