Kauffman earns Student-Athlete of the Week honors after being named the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Runner of the Week. At the LIU Post Invitational on Sept. 15, Kauffman established herself in the front wave of runners in a competitive field, which included Division I and II teams. The first-year harrier finished 30th overall and seventh among Division III competition, while her time of 20:36 is the fastest 5 km performance in school history.
