Sophomore Austin Jones led men's basketball in scoring in each of the team's first two games of 2017. Against John Jay, Jones had 10 points with three rebounds and two steals. The Gryphons earned their first win of the new year with a victory over Haverford during which Jones led the squad with a career-high 17 points, team-high six rebounds, five steals and five assists.
