Sarah Shapiro hit 9-for-14 (.643) from the plate to help the Gryphons to a 2-2 weekend, including a Skyline sweep of Yeshiva University. On Saturday at Sage, the junior Gryphon had a hit, a walk and two runs batted in against the Gators. Then, the outfielder dominated the series against Yeshiva, hitting 8-for-10 while scoring six runs and batting in two others; in game one, she singled in all six of her plate appearances, breaking the team record for hits in a game.
