Moni Spancheska received the 2016 women's tennis Coaches Award and was named to the Skyline Academic Honor Roll. She played against all 12 opponents and won her season opener singles match at Lehman (Sept. 3). Spancheska earned Skyline singles wins against Yeshiva (Sept. 18) and St. Joseph's Brooklyn (Oct. 11) before ending the season with back-to-back doubles wins against St. Joseph's Brooklyn (Oct. 11) and Hunter (Oct. 19). Spancheska finished her career tied for fifth-best in singles wins in Gryphons' history (25).
