Lydia Mullan received the 2016-17 women's swimming Coaches Award and was named Metropolitan All-Academic. She swam in 11 meets and scored 69.75 points. Mullan placed as runner-up in 200 medley relay against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn & Old Westbury (Nov. 19). She placed 9th as consolation final champion in 200 butterfly at TCNJ Invitational (Dec. 4). Mullan won 200 butterfly and took second in 400 free relay against Staten Island (Jan. 14), and she placed seventh in 200 butterfly at Skyline Championships (Jan. 27).
