Victoria Zawadzki received the 2016-17 equestrian Rasky Award and was named to the IHSA All Academic First Team. She collected 10 ribbons with double ribbons at five shows. Zawadzki earned a season-best third-place finish in Novice On the Flat at New Paltz Show, qualifying for regional championships and advancing to Intermediate level. She then achieved two season bests with third place in Novice Over Fences and fourth in Intermediate On the Flat at Stevens (Nov. 19). Zawadzki qualified for but did not compete at regional championships.
