Jessica Cloud received the 2016-17 equestrian Coaches Award and was named to the IHSA All Academic First Team. She placed in each of the first four shows, riding in Advanced Walk Trot Canter. Cloud achieved second place at William Paterson Show (Nov. 12), qualifying for regional championships and classing up to Novice. She totaled five ribbons in Novice classes, including double fourth-place ribbons at Marist (Feb. 11). Cloud rode to fourth in Advanced Walk Trot Canter at Zone III Region III Championships, the team's best result since regional realignment in 2010-11.
