Naima Mackrel had a fantastic weekend at the 2018 Skyline Swimming Championships at Purchase College, earning all-conference recognition in four events, highlighted by a trio of record-setting performances.
On the opening night of competition, Mackrel defended her title in the 100 yard backstroke, winning the race in 57.88, a new Skyline record. The sophomore later took first-place in the 50 yard freestyle, finishing in 24.90, also a new conference standard.
On the final day, Mackrel broke her own school record in the 100 yard butterfly, finishing second in the race with a mark of 1:00.18.
