Naima Mackrel broke a five-year old school record at the Metropolitan Championships. The sophomore touched the wall in the 50 yard freestyle in 24.24, beating the previous mark of 24.39 set by Ariana Peschke in 2013.

Mackrel also broke her own Skyline record in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 57.59, a 0.29-second improvement off her championship performance at the Skyline Championships.
