Shin Narita set a personal record in the 8K at the Purchase College XC Invitational.

Returning to the site of the 2017 Skyline Cross Country Championships, Narita was the Gryphons' top finisher, placing 37th with a time of 30:22, a new personal record in the race. At last season's conference championship event, the sophomore recorded a time of 32:28.
