Chaz Stafford led the Gryphons to a first-place finish at the SLC Sprint Carnival, winning three individual races and two relays.

The first year was victorious in the 50 back with a time of 29.24, while winning the 100 back in 1:00.70 and the 200 free in 1:49.04, 13 seconds faster than the second-place swimmer.

Stafford has gotten off to a strong start this season, winning every race he has competed in.
