Devon Peal put together a strong three days at the Metropolitan Championships, her final collegiate meet. 

On day one, in the 400-yard medley relay, Peal led the group with a lead backstroke split of 59.71, a personal-best. On day two, the senior finished fourth in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.24, a new personal record. Peal also took the 13th position in the 200 free with a time of 2:00.71, also a personal best. 

One final day, Peal finished 5th in the 200 back, turning in a finals time of 2:09.65. A two-time Skyline All-Conference performer in the event, she surpassed the previous best of 2:10.41 recorded by Ariana Peschke in 2012.
