Anthony Lee put together a strong three days at the Metropolitan Championships, his final collegiate meet.Â
On day one, he broke his own school record in the 50-yard freestyle. After qualifying for the finals of the event, the senior posted a time of 21.66 in the race, surpassing his previous best of 21.85. He was also a part of two record-breaking relay performances. In 200-yard freestyle relay, Lee anchored, finishing with a split of 20.95, the first sub-21 split in team history.
On day two, Lee turned in a strong performance in the 100 fly with a finals time of 52.31, a personal best. The senior also was apart of another record-breaking relay effort.
On the final day, Lee placed 12th in the 100 free, touching the wall in 47.41 in the final race. He finished in 47.28 in the prelims, a new personal record. He also helped break a fourth relay standard.
