Addie Sun (Plano, Texas, Plano) was named Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Rookie of the Week after she won one event and posted a pair of individual personal records in the Gryphons' only meet of the week against Brooklyn College.

Sun swam her best times to take second place in the 100 freestyle (1:07.84) and third place in the 50 free (30.77). In the day's final event, she was a part of Sarah Lawrence's winning 400 yard freestyle relay, helping the Gryphons to earn their third-straight dual-meet victory.

Sun's Rookie of the Week selection is the fourth for the team this season, joining three-time honoree Sam Amberchan (Menlo Park, Calif., Menlo-Atherton).
