Harrison Holmes was named Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week following the Gryphons' opening weekend of competition.

Holmes captured the league's first Player of the Week honors of the year after leading the Gryphons' attack in their season-opening tri-match against Keuka College and York College. The sophomore outside hitter picked up seven kills and four digs in the first match before totaling 13 kills, two digs and a block against the Cardinals. The sophomore recorded a .277 hitting percentage on the day and averaged 3.33 kills per set.
