Sarah Lawrence College Athletics

On Sunday, basketball player Greg Smith (Tampa, Fla., Gaither) was named to the 2012-13 All-Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) Team.

Smith, a junior transfer from University of South Florida, made an immediate impact on the Sarah Lawrence team in just his first season as an intercollegiate basketball player. With two games left on the schedule, Smith leads the squad with 11.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

Despite missing five games due to injury, Smith also leads the Gryphons in blocks and steals on the year. His shooting percentages from the field, beyond the arc and from the foul line are all best on the team.
