Jack Chu won three events in Saturday's double-dual meet, helping the Gryphons to their first 2-0 start in program history.
Chu began the meet as part of a foursome that won the 200 yard medley relay in 1:55.40. He later contributed two more wins for the Gryphons, as the rookie won the 100 yard freestyle by a three-second margin, 52.92, and triumphed by a half-second in the 200 yard individual medley, 2:12.44.
In the early weeks of the season, Chu has also put his name on the SLC record board in four places. He set a new 100 yard breaststroke record and was part of record-breaking relays in the 200 medley, 400 medley and 200 freestyle.
