Box Score YONKERS, N.Y.—Setting an SLC scoring record in the process, Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer defeated Medgar Evers College, 9-1, in a non-conference game at Tibbetts Brook Park on Sunday.
The nine goals mark SLC's highest scoring total in two seasons as a varsity program.

Clara Ezcurra (Hurlingham, Argentina/St. Hilda's College) fed a crossing pass into the box, where classmate
Luana DeBorst (Heredia, Costa Rica/European School of Costa Rica) fed it forward with a one-touch pass. SLC's career scoring leader, senior
Kaylen Dornan (San Diego, Calif./High Tech High International) sent the ball home for her second goal of the season.
Medgar Evers (0-4) equalized five minutes later. Sciancia Metelus broke loose down the left side and netted the ball just inside the right post to make it a 1-1 game.
Following the ensuing kickoff, DeBorst capitalized on a misplay by the Cougar goalkeeper. The rookie made a solo play and scored her first career goal to put the Gryphons back on top just 12 seconds after Medgar Evers had tied the game.
In the 13th minute, sophomore
Shannon Sullivan (Templeton, Mass./Narragansett Regional) drove down the middle of the field and scored her third goal of the season.
The 16th minute saw Dornan drive the length of MEC's half the field and slot a short pass to DeBorst, who calmly netted her second goal of the game, giving the Green and White a 4-1 edge.
SLC's
Brianna Solo (Laguna Beach, Calif./Trabuco Hills) came off the bench and made an impact on the game after 12 minutes on the pitch. In the 29th minute, the junior fired a perfectly-placed shot from 30 yards off the goal line, finding the top corner of the net for her second goal of the season.

Lindsay Levy (Potomac, Md./CESJDS) fed a pass to senior
Elle Blanchet (Washington, D.C./Woodrow Wilson) who notched her first goal of the season on the play. In the 43rd minute, sophomore
Maya Ahmed (Dubai, UAE/American School of Dubai) scored her first career goal to give Sarah Lawrence a 7-1 halftime lead.
The SLC offense took its foot off the pedal in the second half, tallying just four shots. The 63rd minute saw DeBorst assist rookie
Clarke Powell (Snellville, Ga./Shiloh) on her first career goal, a dagger from 15 yards.
Rookie
Emily Benjamin (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) rounded out the scoring, adding a 71st-minute goal with a one-touch shot on a crossing pass from
Sadie Rose Zavgren (Wilton, N.H./Homeschooled).
Despite yielding one goal, sophomore
Addie Rosenberg (New York, N.Y./Fusion Academy) picked up her fourth career win between the pipes. Rookie
Noelle Clark (Yonkers, N.Y./The Calhoun School) stepped in to mind the net in the second half, notching one save.
