SCORING SUMMARYSage scored half a dozen in the first half, adding a pair in the second. Jordyn Logan scored the game-winner in the fifth minute. The remaining goals were split with two each to Nicole Maher, Taylor Lynch and Joleen Marfone. Nicole Hume scored the final goal, her first this season.

Sophia Spralja (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) recorded the first shot of the game. In the second minute, her strike was saved by starting goalie Maher. First year
Shira Ungar (Bethesda, Md./Charles E. Smith Jewish Day) added a shot on goal in the first frame. Ungar and Spralja each tallied a shot in the second half as well. The offensive effort was rounded out with a corner kick by Spralja in the 78th minute.
IN GOALMaher picked up the win with a save; replacement keeper Emaleigh Maloney finished out the game with two saves. For the Gryphons, junior
Addie Rosenberg (New York, N.Y./Fusion Academy) totaled 11 saves on 28 shots faced.
