DON'T BLINKIt took just 90 seconds for the Golden Eagles to get on the scoreboard. Chelsea Bellini broke loose and beat the defense for her third goal of the season. Jessica Cordano scored back-to-back goals two minutes apart to give St. Joseph's a 3-0 advantage by the 18th minute.
STRONG FIRST HALFSJC put away two more goals to take a 5-0 lead by halftime. Jacklyn Hughes got in the scorebook with her first goal of her senior season, and Erin Ward added a score in the final minute of the period.
UNLUCKY BOUNCESt. Joseph's sixth goal of the day came when the ball caromed off a Gryphon defender and found the foot of Josseline Sorto. With a one-touch shot, the sophomore defender found the back of the net for her first goal of the season.
