Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y.—Completing a road trip of three-straight games, Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer returned to Skyline play with a 5-0 loss to Purchase College at PC Soccer Field on Wednesday.

PANTHERS IN CONTROLPurchase's Marykate McGee scored her team's first goal in the fourth minute. McGee scored again in the 25th minute, giving the Panthers a 2-0 halftime advantage. Alexa Youre-Moses scored in the 53rd minute, while Skyline scoring leader Riley Graham added a pair of goals (71', 73').

Luana DeBorst (Santo Domingo, Costa Rica/European School of Costa Rica) had the Gryphons' only shot of the game, sending a strike wide of the net in the 78th minute. Goalkeeper

OCTOBER PREVIEWAt the midpoint of the regular season, the Gryphons look forward to another month of play. SLC will face six Skyline opponents, including conference newcomer Yeshiva. Sarah Lawrence has a 2-0 series lead over the Maccabees. In non-conference action, SLC could pick up wins over Medgar Evers and York, two teams that the Gryphons defeated in 2014. With three victories in September, Sarah Lawrence needs one more in 2015 to set a program record for wins in a season.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence hosts Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Gryphons then host Maritime on Monday and round out their home slate on Wednesday against Farmingdale State.
