BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Facing the defending Skyline Conference champions, Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis was blanked by Farmingdale State College, 7-0, in a league match at SLC Tennis Courts on Saturday.

Molly Rosenblatt (San Antonio, Texas/Tom C. Clark) and
Aileen Rosas (Tijuana, Mexico/Mater Dei Catholic) managed to win three games of their matchup against the defending-champion Rams. Farmingdale came away with all three doubles matches.
In a race against the rain, No. 1 Gryphon
Sarah Pyatt (Taos, N.M./Taos) won two games in her opening set, while No. 4 rookie
Yini Li (China/Ross School) won a game in her second set. The Rams clinched four of the six matches before precipitation forced a premature end to the match.

Sarah Lawrence rounds out Skyline play against St. Joseph's Brooklyn College on the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Tuesday. The Gryphons are slated to play their home finale against Hunter College on Wednesday, October 19.
