Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer opened its 2016 Skyline Conference schedule with a loss at Purchase College, 5-0, at PC Soccer Field on Tuesday.

KEY MOMENTS
Amidst a flurry of Panther offense, the Gryphons had several key offensive chances. In the first half, the Gryphons drew a foul about 25 yards from the goal. Sophomore Sophia Spralja (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) fired a direct kick shot but the effort was broken up by the PC keeper. In the second half, sophomore Grace Euphrat Weston (San Francisco, Calif./San Francisco Univ. HS) received a crossing pass and pulled the trigger. Her shot was also met by the stalwart Panther goalkeeper. The final opportunity came late in the game, when rookie Jordynn Figueroa (Gresham, Ore./Gresham) served up a corner kick on the offensive end. Rookie Rachell Mosquera (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) had a season-high 11 saves in net for the Gryphons.

FOR PURCHASE
Brett Robison scored a pair of goals, while Amanda Green had a goal and two assists. Keepers Rachel Mizrahi and Briana Leon split time in net, and each had a save in the combined shutout.

UP NEXT
Sarah Lawrence does double duty this weekend. The Gryphons host College of Saint Elizabeth in the second leg of a home men's/women's doubleheader on Saturday. The Gryphons then host Skyline foe Yeshiva University on Sunday at noon.
