BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis hosted its first home match of the season on SLC courts on Friday, falling to non-conference opponent College of Staten Island, 7-2.

In her No. 5 singles match,
Molly Rosenblatt (San Antonio, Texas/Tom C. Clark) earned a 6-4 win in her opening set. The rookie Gryphon won the first three games of the second set, but her Dolphin opponent rallied to tie the match at 3-3. Yini Li (China/Ross School) also won a set in her match, winning the opener, 6-2. The No. 4 match was leveled when Li's opponent won the second set, 6-1, and the Dolphin earned the match point by scoring 10 of the last 11 points of the super-tiebreaker. Both Sarah Lawrence team points were earned as Staten Island conceded two matches by forfeit.
