BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis was swept by Purchase College, 9-0, in a Skyline match at SLC Courts on Wednesday.

KEY MOMENTS
In the No. 1 doubles match, seniors Sarah Pyatt (Taos, N.M./Taos) and Juliet Slade (St. Paul, Minn./Central) won three games in an 8-3 defeat. Individually, Pyatt faced a challenging opponent in the No. 1 singles match. Slade won the first set of the No. 3 match, 6-1, but fell behind early in the second set. The match came down to a tiebreaker in which her Panther opponent came out on top, 1-6, 6-4, (10-4). Senior Moni Spancheska (Skopje, Macedonia/NOVA International) and rookie Yini Li (China/Ross School) each won four games in their respective singles matches, both falling 8-4.
