PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 Skyline contest at St. Joseph's-L.I. Tuesday at Danzi Stadium.

IN SHORT
St. Joseph's-L.I. (8-5, 4-1) def. Sarah Lawrence (4-8-1, 3-4), 2-1.

KEY MOMENTS
The Golden Eagles struck first in the 13th minute, thanks to a goal from Christina Gagliardi off a pass from Carly Credidio.

St. Joseph's tacked on another goal in the 47th minute, when Credidio played a through ball from Jessica Passabile and found the back of the net.

Sarah Lawrence cut the deficit in half in the 84th minute, when a blocked shot from Sydney Crain () was redirected to the feet of Rachell Mosquera (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia), who tapped in the rebound.

The Golden Eagles held a 17-5 edge in shots, including a 9-3 margin in attempts on frame. Madison Mertsch (Richmond, Va./Douglas Freeman) made four saves in the net.
