Men’s Cross Country Finishes in Top 10 at St. Joseph’s-L.I. Invitational

KING'S PARK, N.Y. – In the final race before the Skyline Championships, the Sarah Lawrence men's cross country team finished 10th among 21 schools at the St. Joseph's-L.I. Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park.

TOP GRYPHONS
In a field of 187 runners in the 8,000-meter race, Zack Roccaforte (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque Academy) was the top Gryphon runner, taking 31st with a time of 29:53.

Daniel Higinbotham (Alpharetta, Ga./Homeschooled) (32:40) and Shin Narita (New York, N.Y./Stuyvesant) (32.41) finished 71st and 72nd, respectively, followed by Nathaniel Gabor (Amherst, Mass./Amherst-Pelham Regional) (35.50) to round out the top Sarah Lawrence runners.

The Gryphons recorded an overall score of 334, finishing ahead of Skyline institutions Mount Saint Vincent (430), Old Westbury (451) and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn (532).
