BROOKLYN, N.Y.- Five different Gryphon found the back of the net Tuesday as the Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team wrapped up its non-conference schedule with an 8-0 victory at York at Aviator Field.

KEY MOMENTS
The Gryphons scored six of their eight goals in the opening 45 minutes of play. Maddie Eppler (Omaha, Neb./Millard North) put Sarah Lawrence on the board 2:05 into the game, scoring off a pass from Rachell Mosquera (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia). Sydney Crain () gave the Gryphons a 2-0 lead in the 21st minute, scoring on a penalty attempt.

Sarah Lawrence scored again in the 24th minute, when Jordynn Figueroa (Gresham, Ore./Gresham) ripped a shot from inside the box and into the netting. Lucia Santacruz () scored 47 seconds later, finding the back of the net off a pass from Figueroa. Crain scored her second goal of the contest 1:14 later, blasting a shot from 15 yards out. Figueroa scored again in the 31st minute, tapping in a shot off a rebound. Gillian Glasier () was credited with an assist.

In the second half, Evalena Labayen () scored her first goal of the season in the 61st minute off a pass from Hannah Smith (Canajoharie, N.Y.), while Santacruz scored her second goal of the game in the 68th minute.   

It is the fourth game in program history and the second time this season that Sarah Lawrence has scored at least eight goals in a single-game.

Sarah Lawrence outshot the Cardinals 34-1, including a 20-1 advantage in attempts on frame.

It was victory No. 5 for the Gryphons, tying a team record for most wins in a single-season, reaching five victories for a second consecutive year.

Sarah Lawrence returns to action Saturday to host Farmingdale State at Tibbetts Brook Park. Prior to the game, the Gryphons will recognize Clarke Powell (Snellville, Ga./Shiloh) for her hard work and dedication to the Sarah Lawrence women's soccer program.
