BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Deserae Sequeira scored in the 75th minute to power St. Joseph's Brooklyn to a 1-0 victory win over Sarah Lawrence Thursday at Aviator Field.

KEY MOMENTS
Both teams entered the contest with identical conference records, needing a victory to claim the final spot in the Skyline Tournament.

It was a scoreless first half between the two schools with a combined eight shot attempts in the opening frame. Sydney Crain (Lakeside, Ariz./Blue Ridge) nearly scored in the 28th minute but had her shot saved by Lauren Quesada.

The two teams continued to tussle in the second half, until Sequeira found the back of the net for her 23rd goal of the season.

The Gryphons nearly equalized the game in the final minute, but Hannah Smith (Canajoharie, N.Y.) had her shot bounce off the post.

Sarah Lawrence finishes the season setting team records in points (96) and goals (38), while tying the program mark for assists (20).
