NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss Tuesday at Mount Saint Mary.

It was a tightly contested game throughout, as neither team flinched in the opening period.

In the second half, the Gryphons put up a strong defensive front, as the Knights outshot Sarah Lawrence 13-1 in the second period.

Mount Saint Mary scored the lone goal of the evening in the 73rd minute, as Joey Dolan scored off a free kick from Connor Lynch.

Goalkeeper Mehran Hicks (Hartsdale, N.Y./The Masters School) faced 20 shots in the game, making 11 saves, while Camary Jonas (Kingston City, Jamaica/Martin Luther King Jr.) took a team-best three shot attempts.
