YONKERS, N.Y. - Rachell Mosquera (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) found the back of the net in the 103rd minute to lead the Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Maritime Wednesday at Tibbetts Brook Park.

IN SHORT
Sarah Lawrence (4-5-1, 3-3) def. Maritime (4-4-1, 1-2), 2-1.

KEY MOMENTS
The Privateers took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute, when Julianna Avitto chipped the ball over the charging goalkeeper and into the net.

Following several great looks at an equalizer, rookie Lauren Ashby (Syracuse, N.Y./William Nottingham) finally tied the contest with her program-record 14th goal of the season in the 67th minute.

A game with playoff implications, neither team flinched in the final 23 minutes, needing extra time to determine a winner.

In the first overtime period, both teams took two shots each. Avitto had an attempt on frame in the 99th minute, but Madison Mertsch (Richmond, Va./Douglas Freeman) made a great diving stop to her left to prevent the golden goal. Ashby had a look as time expired, but her shot just went wide of the far post.

In the second overtime period, Ashby had her shot deflected  by the keeper, but Mosquera was in the right place at the right time to punch in the rebound and give her team the victory.
