YONKERS, N.Y. – John Jay scored two goals in the second half to defeat the Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team in a non-conference contest Monday at Tibbetts Brook Park.

KEY MOMENTS
Following a scoreless opening period, Camila Vasquez gave the Bloodhounds a 1-0 lead in the 59th minute, blasting a shot inside the box into the netting.

John Jay scored once more in the 67th minute, as Alexis Castillo found the back of the net off a deflected shot attempt.

Despite not scoring, the Gryphons held a 12-9 edge in shots, while each put six attempts on frame.
