BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – In the team's first dual meet of the season Saturday, the Sarah Lawrence College men's swim team defeated SUNY Cobleskill 87-59 at Campbell Sports Center.
TOP GRYPHON PERFORMANCES
Sarah Lawrence was victorious in seven individual events.
Jack Langland (Ottumwa, Iowa/Ottumwa) was the top finisher in the 200 yard freestyle, winning the race in 2:07.78. He later followed up his performance with a win in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:42.87).
Sebastian Kleppe (San Francisco, Calif./Gateway to College) posted victories in the 200 yard IM (2:31.69) and 200 yard backstroke (2:39.26).
Anthony Lee (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) earned first-place finishes in the 50 yard freestyle (23:04) and 100 yard freestyle (50.76), while
Charles Allard (Fall River, Mass./B.M.C. Durfee) was the top performer in the 500 yard freestyle, touching the wall in 6:36.17.
GRYPHONS RELAYS
The Gryphons were victories in the 400 yard medley relay, as a quartet comprised of Kleepe, Langland, Lee and
Jacob Ringo (Riverside, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) took first-place with a time of 4:59.23.
