Women’s Soccer Plays to 1-1 Draw at Saint Elizabeth

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team played to a 1-1 stalemate Tuesday at Saint Elizabeth at CSE Field.

KEY MOMENTS
Saint Elizabeth jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute thanks to a goal from Bailey Alvarez.

The Gryphons tied the game in the 59th minute. Rachell Mosquera (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) found the back of the net off a cross from Gillian Glasier () for her first goal of the season.

Sarah Lawrence nearly took the lead in the 87th minute off a shot from Glasier, but the goalkeeper made a diving stop to force extra time. In the second overtime, Maddie Eppler (Omaha, Neb./Millard North) put a shot on goal, but it hit the post as time expired.
The Gryphons outshot Saint Elizabeth 21-8 and held a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks. Madison Mertsch (Richmond, Va./Douglas Freeman) posted three saves in the draw.
