OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's cross country team competed Saturday in the NYIT Invitational at NYIT's Old Westbury Campus.

TOP GRYPHONS
Racing against a mix of Division II and III programs, Rosa Mykyta-Chomsky (Philadelphia, Pa./Germantown Friends School) finished 13th with a time of 21:36.07. The Gryphons had two runners crack the top 20, as Jemma Fisher (Northampton, Mass./Northampton) placed 17th with a time of 22:12.60.

Tiffany Meier (Goleta, Calif./Olive Grove Charter) finished 22nd in the race, while Katie Shepard (Visalia, Calif./Mount Whitney) placed 31st. Janey Bombara (Newtown, Mass./Newtown North) and Lea Perry (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) placed 35th and 36th, respectively, giving Sarah Lawrence a total of six runners among the top-40.
