NEWARK, N.J. - Rookie Lauren Ashby (Syracuse, N.Y./William Nottingham) set a program-record for goals Sunday, while notching her second career hat-trick to lead the Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team to a 5-1 victory over Yeshiva at Rutgers Alumni Field.

Ashby, the reigning Skyline Rookie of the Week, continues to impress in her first season in a Gryphon uniform. She has scored 10 goals in her career, passing Paige Smith (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) (7) for the most goals scored in team history.
Ashby put Sarah Lawrence on the board in the 12th minute. Sydney Crain () sent a through ball across midfield to Ashby, who got behind the Yeshiva defense for the goal.
Gillian Glasier () scored her third goal of the year in the 15th minute, ripping a shot to the left side of the netting off a short pass from Rachell Mosquera (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia).
Ashby scored her second goal of the contest in the 23rd minute, picking up a loose ball and weaving through two defenders before slotting the shot between the pipes.
Glasier recorded her second goal of the game in the 33rd minute, putting a move on her defender to create space in the box before blasting a shot into the net.
Yeshiva's lone goal of the contest came in the 36th minute from Rebecca Rothschild.
In the second half, Ashby completed the hat-trick in the 88th minute, finding the back of the net off a cross from Crain.
Sarah Lawrence outshot Yeshiva 28-10, including a 21-3 margin in the first half.
Madison Mertsch (Richmond, Va./Douglas Freeman) and Andi Pfau (Bolton Landing, N.Y./Bolton Central) split time in goal for the Gryphons, combining to make five saves.
