MORRISTOWN, N.J. –
Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) and
Camary Jonas (Kingston City, Jamaica/Martin Luther King Jr.) each recorded a hat-trick Wednesday to lead the Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team to a 7-0 victory over Saint Elizabeth at CSE Field.

KEY MOMENTS
Sarah Lawrence scored five of its seven goals in the opening period. Jonas put the Gryphons on the board 2:18 into the contest, scoring on a breakaway off an assist from
Dominic Edwards (Santiago, Chile/The Grange School). Edwards later assisted on a goal to Camara in the seventh minute, becoming the fourth Gryphon in team history to hand out at least two helpers in a single match.
Camara scored his second goal of the contest in the 10th minute, blasting a shot from the middle of the box into the net off a cross from Jonas. Camara returned the favor in the 19th minute, assisting on a goal to Jonas. 1:59 before halftime, Jonas scored once again on a breakaway, completing his first-ever hat-trick, becoming just the fifth Gryphon to score at least three goals in a single-game, while also becoming the fifth Gryphon to record at least two assists in a single contest.
In the second half, Camara completed his third career hat-trick in the 74th minute, scoring off his own rebound.
Abe Lange (Chapel Hill, N.C./Carolina Friends School) scored his first career goal as a Gryphon, scoring off a service from Jonas in the 85th minute.
Sarah Lawrence has now scored seven goals in two games this season and are unbeaten (4-0) when scoring at least four times in a contest.
The Gryphons outshot the Eagles 25-17, including a 15-6 advantage in attempts on frame.
Mehran Hicks (Hartsdale, N.Y./The Masters School) made six saves in the victory, helping Sarah Lawrence post its second shutout of the season.
