MILTON, N.Y. - Zack Roccaforte posted a top-10 finish to lead the Sarah Lawrence men's cross country team in the squad's season opener Sunday morning against Mount Saint Mary and Yeshiva. The Gryphons finished second among the three teams in the race.

TOP GRYPHONS
Roccaforte was one of four Gryphons to finish among the top-20 in the race, placing sixth with a time of 19:22.1. Daniel Higinbotham (Alpharetta, Ga./Homeschooled) placed 12th with a time of 20:12.1, while Yifan Chen finished 17th with a mark of 20:59.0 in his collegiate debut. Nathaniel Gabor (Amherst, Mass./Amherst-Pelham Regional) came in 20th with a time of 21:02.6.
