Women’s Cross Country Finish Sixth at St. Joseph’s Invitational

KINGS PARK, N.Y. – In the final race before the Skyline Cross Country Championships, the Sarah Lawrence women's cross country team finished sixth among 22 squads on Saturday at the 19th Annual St. Joseph's Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park.

RECAP
Sarah Lawrence finished with a team score of 229, behind only USMMA (60) and St. Joseph's Long Island (114) among Skyline schools. The Gryphons placed higher than conference opponents Mount Saint Vincent (243), Purchase (261), Maritime (320), Mount Saint Mary (363), Farmingdale State (377), St. Joseph's Brooklyn (532) and Old Westbury (593).

Rosa Mykyta-Chomsky was the Gryphons top finisher, completing the course in 21:46. Molly Walsh finished in 22:04, while Jemma Fisher crossed the finish line in 22:28.

Isabel Edmonds finished the race in 22:52, followed by Katherine Labadie in 24:54. Lea Perry finished the course in 26:12, while Janey Bombara recorded a time of 26:27, a season-best 5K performance. Caroline Beegan, Juliana Markam-Adkinson and Ada Cerdan Rahola rounded out the Gryphon participants.
