BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Sarah Lawrence first year
Kiley Ritter continues to add to an already impressive rookie campaign, earning Skyline Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week accolades for a third time this season, announced by the conference on Monday.
Ritter finished with seven points (three goals, one assist) in the squad's 2-1 week against conference opponents. The first year recorded her third hat trick of the season in the Gryphons' 9-0 victory over Yeshiva, becoming the first Gryphon in team history to post three hat tricks in a single season. She also set the single season marks for goals (15) and points (34) in the win.
Ritter handed out an assist to give Sarah Lawrence a 1-0 lead in a 2-1 win over Purchase, the first-ever victory over the Panthers in team history. More importantly, the win secured a spot in the Skyline Tournament for the first time in team history, becoming the first women's team at Sarah Lawrence to reach the postseason since moving to NCAA Division III in 2014-15.
The first year has quickly ascended to being one of the top offensive threats in the Skyline, ranking No. 2 in goals and points. She has 15 goals and five assists for 35 points this season.
