NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College crew team competed in the 2018 Spring Metropolitan Championships Saturday at Orchard Beach Lagoon. The weather was in the 60's with calm winds and calm waters. All races were 2,000-meters in length.

RECAP
In the opening race, the Gryphons competed in the women's novice 4, placing third behind Fairfield and Maritime with a time of 11:03.01 and did not qualify for the final.

In the women's novice 8, Sarah Lawrence finished in fifth with a mark of 10:08.07. The Gryphons also competed in the women's varsity 4, placing sixth in 10:53.41.
